This unforgettable 6-day rafting and kayaking adventure travels through the lower section of the Salmon River known as the "lower gorge". As the longest free flowing river contained within 1 state in the lower 48 United States, the Salmon River is arguably one of the most beautiful rivers in North America. Crystal clear water flows 425 miles through a pristine watershed, which is primarily wilderness.
Float through 4 deep river canyons while navigating exhilarating class III and IV whitewater in a guided oar boat, paddle raft, inflatable kayak and/or stand up paddle board. The white sand beaches are perfect for beach games as well as camping. This trip is perfect for both thrill-seekers and relaxation-seekers alike.
Spend your nights out under the stars on a cot with a comfy sleeping pad in a cozy sleeping bag or choose to move inside one of our spacious tents. Star gazing at the dark night sky will set you up for an amazing night's sleep. Awaken the next morning to the aroma of fresh brewed coffee as the sun begins to creep down the canyon rim to grace the river with warmth.
Surrounded by Wilderness, with no wifi or cellular signal, this trip will certainly provide the opportunity to create new and solidify existing life long traveling and adventure companions. The friendships developed while stepping into the wilderness will not be forgotten.
