The Grande Ronde River is a tributary of the Snake River, and offers some of the most scenic views in all of Oregon. It’s headwaters flow from the Elk Horn and Wallowa Mountains, past the stunning Blue Mountains and through deep basalt canyons. The untamed beauty of the Northwest provides the perfect backdrop for a one-of-a-kind rafting adventure.

Winding Waters River Expeditions operates under special use permits, granted by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, the Umatilla National Forest, and Hells Canyon National Rec Area in the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest. Hells Canyon Whitewater and Winding Waters River Expeditions are licensed by the Oregon State Marine Board and the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board.
